Corisa Moreno is an interdisciplinary artist based in Los Angeles. Her practice uses the allure of art to explore social issues while bringing joy to the viewer. Corisa’s vivid color schemes are an influence of growing up in Hawaii and her use of texture and 3D elements comes from her background as a seamstress and working with fabrics. For several years Corisa took a break from painting and designed & built chandeliers, table lamps, and floor lamps from repurposed materials, discarded metal & automotive parts.
